Motion made to accept the minutes of the last meeting (Annual Meeting) seconded and approved unanimously.

 

BUDGET:  Bill Hurley sees no problem with the budget through the end of the year (October 2010).

 

TOURNAMENT REPORT:  Dick Bulmer brought up the problem that the flag positions are always in the same position  (pin position #1). 

 

SLOW PLAY:  If there is a dispute, the situation goes to the tourney chairman who will meet with other member (s) of the Board to help settle the dispute. Howard Fritz, Tom DeRoza, and Dick Bulmer will be the decision makers. 

 

BULLETIN BOARD AND OFFICERS MESSAGES:  Should we update? Only when something is relevant. Tournament and policy maters should be updated on a monthly basis, and officers reports from Board meeting to Board meeting

 

CALENDAR:  Annual Board meeting (Outing) - Tom DeRoza suggested we have our meeting in October. Doug Adams will work on the scheduling. The January 2011 meeting will be the nominating meeting for new board members and the Annual meeting open to all members will be held in May 2011.  All agreed.

 

BLUE FLAG PROBLEM:  CSGC needs to have some kind of enforcement either from the marshals or the pro shop as to who is entitled to a blue flag. Unless both players in a cart are eligible for the blue flag, the non disabled player is not entitled to ride to his ball. Question of fairness to all players. Tom DeRoza will speak with management on some kind of resolution to the problem.   

 

DRIVING RANGE BALLS:  On tournament days only, tokens will  be only $2.00 for our senior members instead of the normal $4.00. Might be a nice gesture to thank the management (Doug, Mike etc.) for this little perk.
