CSGC NEEDS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE TOURNAMENT CHAIRMAN

PHIL SIMONS will be one of the Co-Tournament Chairmen. Howard Fritz will collect the Next Tournament Money and be our Photographer.  WE Still need another Co-Tournament Chairman.

THE TIMED TOURNAMENT POLICY WILL BE USED IN TOURNAMENTS TO KEEP OUR TIME UNDER 5 HOURS.  WE USUALLY ARE THE FIRST PAIRINGS OF THE DAY.  WE CAN FINISH THE TOURNAMENT BY 2:30 WITH 72 ENTRIES.

2010 SCHEDULE

The 2010 Schedule will have the third Wednesday of January, February, November and December as additional tournament dates.

Description of Tournament Formats

Four of the Tournaments will be a non-Postable event.

January 20 Tournament will have a choice of Blue, White, and Yellow Tee Blocks to be declared at signup.   There will be 4 Flights determined by the handicaps from the three tees.  We will ask for member’s comments.  Should CSGC have this as an option for ALL tournaments????  NCGA SUGGESTED YARDAGE GUIDELINES

April 21 NCGA 4-Man team will be the lowest medal play of the entries.

May 17 Annual Meeting will have a 7:30 Shotgun start with a hosted lunch.

July 21 4-Man Shamble is a new format for Team events.

September 15 and 22 will be the Club Championship.
