PRESIDENTS MESSAGE  1/18/2012

"At last years Annual Meeting, the membership unanimously supported paying for qualifiers through all levels of competition at the NCGA level.

This turned out to be a major success this past year. We had more local qualifiers make it past the first round of the NCGA tournaments, than before, with one team making it to the championship final. However, with this success we exceeded our budgeted amount by several hundred dollars. As a result of your success and support, the Board approved increasing the NCGA qualifying entry fees from the current $10 to $15, this is in addition to the regular $5 entry. Considering, the cost of each qualifier, which could be $190 or more per individual, this is a reasonable risk, reward. This new policy will be implemented for our first NCGA qualifier in February. Congratulations to all of last years winners and participants and may this year be even more successful."
